RULES FOR ENTERING THE CONTEST
1. Participation is open to all residents of Milliken, Colorado.
2. Entry is free; no cost or fees apply.
3. Participant recognizes that by submitting their application, their physical address, home theme name and pictures (no actual name will be listed) will be posted on social media pages.
4. Entry forms must be received by December 17, 2024.
5. Contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.
6. Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Therefore, only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets).
7. Judging will be done:
Wednesday December 18-Saturday December 21, 2024 6:30pm-9:00pm
8. Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated for the judging period on December 18-21, 2024 6:30pm-9:00pm. If the lights are not on during these times for judging judges will submit a 0 score notating lights were off.
9. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
10. Houses decorated by paid professionals are not eligible.
11. Houses that are entered but do not have any lights, animations or decorations activated during judging will not be eligible or judged.
12. Judges results are final. There will be zero tolerance of any harassment or bullying against anyone. Any harassment or bullying will be terms for immediate disqualification from the contest permanently.
